1 3/4 cups sugar
3 eggs
170ml oil
1 cup of full cream milk
2 tablespoons of vinegar
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup 100% cocoa powder
1/2 cup hot water
3 teaspoons of instant coffee or 120ml of brewed coffee
2 egg whites, beaten (optional)
1 tablespoon of baking powder

300g chocolate (150g half milk, 150g half dark)
300g heavy cream
Directions
- Beat the eggs and sugar until frothy. Add the oil and beat a little more. Then add the milk curdled with vinegar and mix.
- Add the sifted flour mixed with cocoa and continue to mix
- Add the coffee diluted in water and continue to mix (If you are going to add the beaten egg whites, fold them in at this point)
- Add the baking powder and gently stir.
- Pour into the pan (22cm pan) and bake
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350°F) for about 40 to 50 minutes.
